Our Direct Care Positions (DCS) is one of the corner stones of our services. These positions focus on assisting persons with being out in the community and managing their own activities of daily living.
With us, working with people is more than being inside all day. Many of them enjoy being out in the community and learning how to establish good relationships with others. Some of them will need assistance with basic job seeking skills; making small purchases; and integrating into the community while understanding basic and appropriate social cues.
Although many of the DCS positions are part-time (25-30 hours), full-time hours are available based on one's flexibility and availability. Support and assistance are generally needed between the hours of 7am and 9pm. We have positions in Huntsville, Madison, Toney, Harvest, and New Market. Some hours may be flexed to accommodate the family's need and your availability.
